Cycling around Aix en Provence we came across this hidden gem. Great terrace seating, friendly welcome and speedy service ! From the extremely extensive menu (lots of grill specialities) we selected a home made foie gras to share followed by a salmon tartare and grilled pork leg Food was delicious and well presented Definitely a venue we will return to and highly recommended to those after an excellent culinary experience, brasserie style
You must try this place, and don't forget to order the Charcoal Grilled Pig Feet! I kid you not! This is the one to have, and I don't think you can easily find another place like this. If I live near this place, I will have one every day, ... ok, every week. The meat is so tender, practically falling off the bone, and so tasty. The portion is huge, so make sure you bring a big appetite. Five-star for the Charcoal Grilled Pig Feet, and 4 star for the rest.
Meat was good, Dessert average. Reasonably priced. The meat is being grilled on a wood fire in the restaurant, so you should be prepared for having to wash your clothes afterwards (which I wasn't, so I was smelling after wood fire on my customer visit the next day)
If you are in for meat from the grill for very reasonable prices this is the place to be!
Loved the food and service, got a walk in table and the staff were really friendly whilst accepting of our total lack of French. This is definitely a place for meat lovers, try the mixed grill, usually the preserve of Turkish restaurants but done French style was a real treat. Definitely try this place
